God is Infinite and Eternal – That's why we need Him
Whether you are a student, a seeker of truth, a priest, minister, or rabbi, you owe it to yourself to gain an insight into the true nature of God, and most importantly, the one attribute that is the essence of God - infinite love
I was born on March 14, 1930 in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Northeastern Penna. My mother was from Austria. She died when I was 18 months old. I had the good fortune to be raised by my father, a coal miner, who was born in Sicily, and by my grandmother and grandfather who were also from Sicily. Consequently, it was necessary for me to speak Italian if I wanted to eat, so I grew up speaking both English and Italian.
My father fought with the Allies in the Italian Army during World War I, and when he came to the United States he inspired his sons to duty and honor by serving one's country in its time of need. My older brother Chris served in the Merchant Marines during World War II and later in the Army, my next oldest brother Nicholas served with the Marines in the Pacific during that same war receiving several medals including the purple heart, my older brother Salvatore served in the Marine Corps during the Korean and Vietnam conflicts and later in the Air Force, and is buried in Arlington cemetery.
I am a veteran having served in the Air Force during the latter part of the Korean War, although I was not called into combat. I grew up knowing the meaning of sacrifice at an early age. At age 14, my neighbor Michael Saitta was killed during the invasion of Normandy, and my cousin died during the invasion at Anzio. I remember seeing quite a few "Gold Stars" hanging in neighbors' windows, which meant that a son or daughter was killed in action. A silver star meant a son or daughter was wounded in action. To this day, I vividly can recall that my neighbor, Mrs. Weir, had a gold star in her window which I gazed at every day on my way to football practice. Such are memories, and such were my heroes and heroines, such as Mrs. Weir and her son, Mrs. Saitta and her son, and my cousin, and my neighbors who also paid the ultimate sacrifice for my freedoms.
Graduate of: Pittston High School in Pittston, Pa., Wyoming Seminary in Kingston, Pa., Keesler AFB School of Radar in Biloxi, Miss., and Columbia College of Chicago. As a student for the Catholic priesthood, I also attended Catholic University in Washington, D.C., Scranton University in Pa., and Canisius College in Buffalo, N.Y. I also taught in a Catholic seminary.
Software engineering consultant working on the following programs; space programs associated with the Titan and Atlas missiles at Vandenberg AFB, Calif.; Nuclear Class Submarines, incl. the Trident, Polaris, Poseidon and 688 Class Attack Submarines; F4C Flight Simulators; classified projects for the U.S. Government with Dr. Dornberger, who during the Second World War was head of Germany's V-2 rocket programs; software operating systems for IBM, RCA, and Digital Equipment Corp.; the Global Positioning System for Draper Labs.; worked with a team of engineers in the design of the Aegis System for both destroyers and cruisers; and I worked directly for the Test and Evaluation Directorate at Hanscom AFB on the AWACS programs, among other consulting assignments such as the Minuteman, Peacekeeper, Safeguard and Hawk missile programs. I also designed, with the help of my son, a speech therapy software system to assist stroke victims and those with ADD and learning disabilities.

The Momma and Papas Bluegrass Band
The Momma and Papas Bluegrass Band put on a Christmas concert during lunch hour in the 1980's at a business that manufactured ICBM's. This was our contribution to show that the United States of America had other interests at heart besides war........PEACE.
No one ever knows how much of an impact little deeds have on the world stage, but if everyone does a little good deed every now and then, it's amazing how it lights up the world.
I can't remember the names of all the musicians, we were together for only a few weeks, but I was honored to have a Rabbi accept my invitation to sing Amazing Grace with us. I only remember that his first name was Harry, a truly remarkable person. Barbara (Momma) was on the fiddle and she could make a fiddle cry, laugh, and sing like a bird . . . a Mocking Bird to be exact. Her husband on trumpet and guitar we called "Smitty", and I never heard Amazing Grace on a trumpet sound so uplifting. Our mandolin player and rhythm guitar players' names escape me, but they were two of the finest gentlemen I have ever met. I was just learning to play the banjo and tried to stay in the background.
Tried to contact all band through a Google Web Search, but no luck. If any of members see this, please call me and we can get together again at my place and play some old-time bluegrass and raise our canes….I mean raise cain, or is it cane? View and listen to the music on my YOUTUBE CHANEL.

When you vote for President, are you voting for someone who will be YOUR lobbyist, or are you voting for someone who will be THEIR lobbyist, THEIR meaning everyone else's lobbyist but yours. If we want the 21st century to be a repeat of the twentieth, we should continue to vote for the elitists. My Answers to the Religious and Social Issues
My religious viewpoints are explained in my books and I refer to myself as a New Christian, in that I believe in Christ's teachings, but not that he was God. I stress observance of the two most important commandments to which Christ referred: loving God and loving one's neighbor. I strongly affirm my beliefs in the First Amendment right to freedom of religion and will work hard to see that those rights are not violated. We must be eternally vigilant to assure that "all" religions are protected from any form of intimidation and persecution and that every citizen has the right to worship God in freedom, whether they are Christian, Jew, Muslim, Hindu, or if they are simply non-believers.
Our public schools should be a seedbed of God's truth and knowledge, but not necessarily a seedbed for any one religion. Therefore, I would support public or private prayer in schools and the elective study of philosophical and theological truths that are not tied to any one religion. All children should be taught at an early age how to use their intellects, and it is time we introduced our junior and senior high school students to Plato, Aristotle, and the science of metaphysics. Opening up their imaginations will open up their minds to the unexplored horizons and to the Source of our being. Without a Divine Beacon, without a purpose in life, I believe that the future of our nation will evolve into a nation where the laws of the jungle will prevail, rather than the laws of morality and justice. I believe we are at a moral crossroads, and we must ask ourselves: "Are we going to take the high road, or are we going to take the low road? Are we just going to debate these issues, or are we going to act and really do something about them, so that we can leave our children and grandchildren the blessings of hope and enlightenment through intellectual expansion based on a Divine Compass?"
I believe that the doctrine of separation of church and state is meant to be a separation of "religion" and state, and not a separation of "God" and state, for God is the very foundation of our Constitutional rights and our system of justice. I believe that "one nation under God" means exactly that, that God is above all of us because God is the Creator of us all. To deny God as a matter of policy in our schools, by ignoring God's existence, is to make a mockery of our insistence that we are "one nation under God". Therefore, to study the nature of God, is not the same thing as worshiping God or practicing a religion. I would not support any "religious practices" in the public school system curricula. I believe that would violate the First Amendment. But I will support "studying about God" or the "Supreme Being, First Cause, Universal Spirit, Creator or whatever name we attribute to the source of all creation." This would not violate the First Amendment as long as it is not tied to a specific religious belief or a religious practice - and that - is not difficult to do. It is not Constitutional to bring into the classrooms "holy scriptures" of any denominations because they belong to each religion. But to bring in books by the great philosophers and to teach rational theology would not violate the First Amendment.

THE KINGDOM OF CHRIST, April 17, showed balance with respect to Christ's historicity. While Christ's church (headed by Christ's brother James and his other brothers and relatives) refused to deify Jesus, as your article points out at the top of page 53, nonetheless, most people don't realize that it continued to flourish until the mid 300's
In the early 300's, Emperor Constantine became a follower of the Church (established by Peter and Paul). Sensing that the deep divisions among the churches (regarding Christ's nature) were affecting the unity of his empire, he ordered all bishops in the empire to appear at a council held in Nicaea.
Constantine insisted that once this Council was over, there was to be unity among all the bishops. The Church with a majority of bishops voted to make Jesus the son of God and equal to God, but some bishops (Arius and others) asked Athanasius and his group: "If we make Jesus the son of God and equal to God, that would make him innascent. How could two persons be innascent?" Not one bishop had an answer, but to please Constantine, they deified Jesus. The Church established by Christ's brothers and relatives refused to deify Jesus, and from the mid 300's to the mid 400's they were either starved to death or slaughtered by Roman soldiers at the request of the bishops who went along with the deification of Jesus, the current church.
History is written by the victors, not the vanquished.

In this book I will endeavor to explore the meanings of both "Thy kingdom come" and "Thy will be done".
God's Kingdom is both natural and supernatural. Or simply put, God's Kingdom consists of matter and spirit.
God, however, is pure spirit and matter did not exist until God created matter out of nothing but His will. Simply put, God created matter out of His superabundant love..
God's will, therefore, is that we become one with Him in His spirit.

YES, for two reasons:
The first reason is proof for myself: I have been there and need no other proof. But I don't expect you to believe Heaven exists merely because someone says they've been to Heaven. Therefore, the second reason is what should be most important to you.
The second reason is that Heaven (a place where our spirit - our soul- will reside eternally in the presence of God's light and love and all that is good) exists because God created us to be with Him eternally as a reward for obeying His divine and natural laws. Our powers of reason tell us that when God created us, He had a purpose, and being infinitely good, that purpose was to enable us to share in His love, His light, His beauty, His power, His grace, and in everything that is possible for Him to share with us. If you had a banquet with tables filled with all the best foods in the world, you would want to share them with your children - because you love them completely. God's being is more than a banquet of the best foods in the world, God's being is filled with infinitely more superior things. God's being is filled with infinite love and all things good - AND - we "are" His children.
Some have seen God face-to-face and have received a taste of God's infinite light, love, beauty, power, and so forth, but the glimpse can only be temporary, and that is because the person who is experiencing God face-to-face is a temporal being, and as such, cannot have an eternal experience without leaving the temporal existence. To experience God eternally, one must permanently leave the spatio-temporal universe, since God exists in the eternal spiritual universe and is incompatible with the spatio-temporal universe. That is because God cannot exist within what He created. Therefore, Heaven - being in God's presence eternally - exists in the "other universe", the spiritual universe reserved for those who love God, and in this life, only a glimpse is possible.
Consequently, because God is infinitely just and infinitely merciful, our powers of reason tell us that an infinitely intelligent being had to have a just reason for creating us, and that reason is to reward those who exercise their will in obeying Him, and to reject those who defy His will (who will thereby suffer the loss of His love, light and infinite goodness).
Please review what I have written about God in other parts of this website for additional proofs regarding God's attributes which give an added dimension for the proof of the existence of Heaven, because the more you know about God, the closer you will be to Heaven, and the more your doubts will evaporate.
The word "theology" comes from the Greek words "theos" (God) and "logos" (discourse or study), or "the study of God". The word "philosophy" comes from the Greek words "philein" (to love) and "sophia" (wisdom), or "the love of or the search for wisdom".
Today, those words have been corrupted so that whoever studies scriptures of one religion or another is incorrectly classified as a theologian, even though they may know nothing about God except what they read, or what others teach them about God. They do not study God - they study books that are supposed to be "the truth" about God, when in fact, these books at times, contain blasphemies. These so-called theologians are nothing more than biblicists.
A philosopher today is considered an atheistic rationalist or a theistic rationalist, although not by their own choosing. By no stretch of the imagination, philosophers today know more about God than these self-proclaimed theologians. The reason for the animosity shown by today's "theologians" toward philosophers is that today's philosophers are correctly pointing out the incompatibility between what these self-proclaimed theologians believe and teach about God - and what are the real truths about God. For example, there are theologians who teach that God is comprised of three persons, whereas, philosophers can prove that God is unity, indivisible, and could never be composed of three persons, or three any things for that matter. That is because the philosopher can prove that God is the Uncaused Cause (singular), the Prime Mover (singular), the Infinite One (singular), the Eternal One (singular), and so forth, thereby, refuting the claim of these self-proclaimed theologians that God is three persons.
Today's so-called theologians teach that God could become something God created, such as, God could become a man, an animal or a thing. Philosophers can prove that God cannot become anything because God is immutable, and by becoming something, God would have to change, and be posterior to Himself, which is absurd. If God could be something He created, God would be an effect. God is the Uncaused Cause of all that is, and therefore, God could never be an effect.
Today's so-called theologians cannot refute philosophers who are considered theistic rationalists, so they instead attack atheistic rationalists (John Dewey, etc.) who try to use philosophy to prove the non-existence of God. In fact, the writings of Greek philosophers such as Aristotle are used today in Christian universities - to prove God exists. These writings were translated by Thomas Aquinas and are called the Thomistic proofs of God's existence. These Aristotelian translations were incongruously adapted to Christian theology.
So that when the Greek philosophers provided rational arguments to prove God exists (by another name such as the Prime Cause and the Prime Mover), those writings were banned by the church. But when the Church took those same proofs and "Christianized" them in the Summa Theologica, they were blessed by the Church. The problem arose, however, when the Church chose arguments that blended into their faith, and discarded arguments that refuted the myths in their faith.
The myths being that a man can be God, and God can become a man. Additional myths, such as the trinity doctrine, necessarily flowed from that basic myth, and were incongruous with some of the Greek writings. The incongruity is very evident in the Summa, as well as, the Athanasian Creed. The Summa, for example, in one part, adequately proves that God is unity and indivisible, but in another part, where the writings argue that God is a trinity of persons, it is incongruous with its previous argument that God is unity and indivisible. When arguing for the trinity of persons, as defined in the Athanasian Creed, it argues that all three persons are distinct, and further argues that all three persons are innascent, infinite, and so on. The argument, unknowingly, is attempting to prove that there are three first causes, three prime movers, three necessary beings, etc. This is so absurd that it not only defies all logic, but it also insults the intellect, and blasphemes God's nature and person.
In conclusion, true theologians are those who know the truths about God through God's gift of reason. These theologians are sometimes called theistic rationalists, such as Thomas Paine, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington. False theologians are those who claim to know God through "holy" books which describe God as a genocidal maniac, for example, in 1Samuel 15:3. These false theologians fear theistic rationalists because theistic rationalists swiftly, smoothly and with a clear conscience expose the false theologians' blasphemous teachings.
God gave us the gift of reason, it is very precious, so do not fear to use it. God will bless you for it - over and over and over.
Some theologians try to explain how God could be present in everything by making qualifications, such as, "God is omnipresent spiritually", or "God is omnipresent causally", etc. This leads skeptics to declare that "the idea of God's being omnipresent" dies the death of a thousand qualifications.
Without qualifications - God in His essence - is not present in anything. The pantheists believe that God is everything and everything is God, while panentheists believe that God includes the whole of the natural world as an integral and immanent part of Himself. Both err in that God could never be contained in something He created since it can be proven that God is the Prime Cause of all creation
Some are confused because they argue that creation is spatio-temporal, while God is spiritual and eternal, and therefore, God cannot be within us but is "out there somewhere". Therein lies the confusion. Yes, we do exist in the spatio-temporal universe, but we are not exclusively spatio-temporal beings, we are also spiritual beings who possess God's spirit within us. As finite beings, we cannot contain the infinite (God's essence/His entire being), but we can possess His spirit.
The spirit that resides within us is the link that allows us to know God as God really is - but - as God exists in the eternal universe, not in the spatio-temporal universe. So the pantheists and the panentheists seem to forget that God in His essence and fulness, cannot exist within what He created - for many reasons - such as, the infinite cannot be contained within the finite, the eternal cannot be contained within the temporal, the spiritual cannot be contained within the physical, etc.
NOTE: The following question has been asked by political leaders, movie stars, and others. I prefer to answer it up front, to minimize the correspondence regarding this question. The question is:
"Can you give us instructions on how we can experience an NDE, or Near Death Experience?"
I was asked this question yesterday: "How can I see God face-to-face as you have?"
The first thing to remember is that to see God in this life, as God really is, and not through smoked glass, and not to be consumed by God's Infinite Love and Light - is purely a gift. We do not earn it.
The second thing to remember is that you must desire God, and you must have a degree of "desirelessness" regarding earthly things and pleasures. We can achieve desirelessness, but it doesn't mean we have arrived at the Beatific Vision or the Sight of God. But when we witness the Beatific Vision or the Sight of God, we are in a state of desirelessness. God is the one Who chooses to manifest Himself to us. It is not we who manifest ourselves to God.
